AMC Recipes | Mee Sua Congee (rice porridge)

How to prepare delicious Mee Sua Congee (rice porridge) for dinner with left over brown rice from lunch within 30 minutes.

Why add mee sua into rice porridge, because my husband is big eater, 2 bowl brown rice normally not enough for both of us and boil additional rice take longer time to cook, mee sua always easy way out ...



Ingredient
  • 2 bowl brown rice (left over from lunch)
  • 100g mee sua
  • 1 package white tofu
  • 1 tsb shredded ginger
  • 1/4 can straw mushrooms (diced)
  •  2 dried black mushrooms (soaked until soft, diced)
  • 30g carrots (diced) option
  • 80g cabbage (diced)
  • 30g preserved turnip (without leaves)


Seasoning
  • Salt (just a little)
  • 1 tbsp condensed vegetarian stock mushroom essence
  • Sesame oil
  • Ground white pepper


AMC Cookware & equipment used are as follows :

Method
  • Add 1 litter water into AMC 24cm medium cooking pot
  • Set Atmosfera 4000 heat to No. 6 small ring, when AMC Visiotherm green indicator reach 1st red (10 o'clock), place ingredients & seasoning to AMC cooking pot
  • When AMC Visiotherm green indicator reach center (1 o'clock), delicious Mee Sua Congee are ready to serve.
